After years of waiting for an autism assessment I decided to go privately. From the first phone call to the last assessment, I felt comfortable, acknowledged and respected. I had to drive 6 hours for the face to face assessment as I live quite far away, but it was all worth it. Thank you for everything, thank you for helping me understand myself a little bit better.
I had issues with payment, the Klarna link didnt work and had to pay everything at once, 900 quid, no joke now reading the reviews and the link didnt work for other people so they put you in thag position Dr Jane Hamilton- avoid at all costs, she was so dismissive and had no empathy. She had from the very start gave me diagnosis, not even once acknowledging what I feel or how I am trying to explain What a waste of Time and money
I was verbally assured by Diverse Diagnostics that I could pay for their diagnostic service in 12 monthly instalments. At the point of purchase, this payment option was not honoured and I was required to pay in full. I rejected the contract on the grounds of misrepresentation. The company refunded part of the amount but refused to return £200. Diverse Diagnostics are worth every penny. When I attempted to access an ADHD assessment through my local NHS service they were so dismissive that they wouldn't even put me on the waiting list, so I started looking for private providers.
