My mother-in-law called them today, due to a fault with her electric door. They called early PM today and told her the elctric operator was beyond repair, that they had a new one in the van, and could install it at a cost of £1100 (not sure if that was plus VAT as they did not leave any written paperwork). Thinking it sounded expensive, she called another local company who arrived later in the afternoon. They adjust and serviced the current operator and it is working like new...at a cost of £60!!
PLEASE NO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I could not get another firm to come out... so I chose DIVA DOORS. They certainly are 'DIVAS'. The bad reviews certainly stack up... BELIEVE THEM!!! After selecting an AM repair, numerous calls to them in the day and promises that the 'Technician' was on the way. They finally called back at 4.30 PM to say they were not coming.
Appalling service. My garage door in Dorset came off the rollers TUES night rang Diva and arranged for a visit on Wed and got someone to wait at property for me. They rang at end of day to say they weren't coming. I rang the office and rearranged for Friday morning. They rang on Thursday to say they were coming I made clear that wasn't agreement and they said ok Friday am. A friend has waited in all day. Feeling RIPPED OFF - Just discovered the parts cost no more than £20, the chap was here 1 hour max and i was charged/quoted £300 inc. VAT. - he made the job sound like it was a big job and not an easy one. offer was accepted on that basis. Feel like crying to be honest.
