Authentic - good food, bad service – Take from someone who knows: this is the real deal. The menu has authentic Chinese food and authentic bad Chinese restaurant service. Most people expect good service at restaurants, but trust me, most good chinese restaurants have bad service. The food is most important and they know it. Delicious! – I went to this restaurant for the first time this past Mon with a group of 4. We were seated and served very quickly. I am not an expert on real Chinese food, but I know quality, fresh food when I see it and this is it! My husband had the pork fried rice, which was fresh made with delicious bbq pork. Worst Service in Town! – I've been there several times and their dishes are just OK(too salty and too sweet, so American-Chinese). We went there on a Sunday evening just because we live very close and thought it would be a quick dinner. But it was so crowded we had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table. Another 10 minutes after we sat down, no waiter or waitress showed up, I had to wave the menu to a couple of waiters passing by and obviously they saw it. If you truely want great bbq in Austin this is it!!!!! – I was in the Navy and traveled the Far East and lived there for four years, so I know great food!!!! In my world this is the best place for great bbq and anything else that your taste buds could want. Where else in Austin can you get your chicken with the head still on, or watch your pork being sliced from the pig while you wait. Love stone fish now you know where to get it
Good Chinese foods (if they're not out), the WORST service, greedy owner – The foods are excellent, if they're not out of them. If you come after 7pm, chances are they will be out of at least one of their house special bbq's. If it's not duck that is out, it will pork bbq, or chicken, you name it. Oily, oily with poor service and poor ventilation. – Poor ventilation, worse service and some waiters are very independent and non-caring about what you want. Somewhat poor service is understandable on a very busy night, but it's even poor at slow times. The food? I hope you like oil because your will get a good lube job if you eat there. Good Hong Kong style Chinese food, Ventilation machine DOESN'T work, Poor service – As others have experienced, the food is good but the service needs improvements. If you happen to know the waiter/waitress (if you go there often enough), he/she MIGHT be nice to you. There's one old Chinese-man waiter that's nice but he's only nice to HIS customers.
