We had a sunset dinner at DiMillo's on 10/28/17. We had no reservation and were seated immediately. My wife ordered the 2 1/2 lb steamed lobster. It was cooked to perfection! I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon with asparagus and baked potato. The filet was prepared nicely and was melt in your mouth tender. The bread was fresh from the oven and was delicious. We may have waited about an hour to get our table. When we got to our table & ordered, we waited about a half hour to get our food. Typical times for a good restaurant on a Friday night! Food was excellent & the service was impeccable!!! I would recommend calling early in the week if you’d like a reservation for Friday or Saturday or you’ll end up waiting.
I enjoyed the Rocco sandwich and the view. Pleasant dining room with low noise.
Horrible customer unless you’re a local. We were totally ignored for a half hour then gave up. Horrible.
Tobias was my waiter and he was pretty great! Checked up on me just the right amount of times...and cheered me on to finish a portion of food that was clearly not humanly possibly...but therefore, obviously worth the money. Great place. If I visit Portland again - I’ll definitely be hitting this place up.
Dimillo"s is always Dimillo's nice server great drinks, decent food, fresh seafood, great onion soup. It is so busy with tourist they do seem to love to see a few locals in the mix. We were at the Marina but our friend appreciated the free parking while dining.
