Due to the increase in property tax, my morgage was raised to more than $350 monthly, but to avoid this, i paid the escrow out of pocket. However my statement continue to have the extra payment. I have tried to discuss this with DCU staff to explain whats going on, i have called them almost every other week and everytime i speak to customer service rep, I'm informed that someone would investigate and get back to me in 3 to 5 business days. Applied for the *** card online. Was instructed to fill out application online and they would send me a "Package" to open an account. Never received anything after weeks of waiting. Tried to call every day 7 days in a row with minimum 2+ hours of wait times to speak to anyone. If this is their "process" I want nothing to do with it. I see others who have been hacked and if waiting hours on end is their idea of customer service I want nothing to do with them.
Have been a customer for over a decade. Their customer service has gone from excellent to terrible over the past 2 years. They like to blame the pandemic for long hold times, closed branches, poor business practices, but believe me, these issues were becoming deal breakers before the pandemic ever started. Terrible business to deal with, solar loan to be exact. They never send a balance statement. When I refi and was paying the loan off in full. I had to keep calling and was getting a run around. The first person I spoke with asked for a tracking number, I got it later in the day. Called back and the next person said they don't use tracking numbers, lol. I've closed all 3 accounts with *** couple weeks ago and got check from *** with remaining money. Today i.e., April 29th 2021, I see two cash deductions from *** in my other back, totals to $1400, I used to do these automated transactions when I had an account with them. So I was really shocked when I saw these transactions because I wasn't expecting them to occur and luckily I've money, if not balance would have gone negative. You can not get these people on the phone. THE worst company I have ever had to deal with in my fifty years in business. If you are thinking of taking out a loan think again.
I will start off with how extremely disappointed I am with the level of service from *** in regard to a home equity loan for a down payment on a new construction home. I have been with *** for nearly 40 years. I've had multiple car loans, and debit, credit, and *** cards. I have personal, business, and community group accounts with them. When my credit score was 0 because I hadn't had any loans or credit cards for over a decade, they worked with me to start rebuilding my credit with a credit card, then a year later they worked with me to get a great used car loan. Dont ever sign up for this credit union. *** tried to sign up and become a member but they wouldnt except my application even with sending in all the correct documentation they require. They didnt have any reasoning but just said they need a document that *** sent already 4 times and keep asking for it. ****** like a scam.
