When passing thru Bakersfield California this is a MUST stop! This ice cream/candy shop is over 100 years in business and owned by only one family. I moved here 7 years ago, and this was my first time at Dewar's, I got the black and white, I absolutely LOVED it.
My daughter & I love it at the ice cream place. I had the black & tan. She had the black & white. So yummuy. I would go back definitely.
Can't go wrong at Dewars. Georges Special is the best.
It was the first time for my in laws to come. Our server treated us and especially my father in law wonderfully. He will be 90 on Aug 24th and LOVES ice cream! It's great ice cream. I try to avoid sugar as much as possible but I loved the fact that I didn't get a sugar headache after eating my chocolate fudge/peanut butter treat. Highly recommend.
