Dr. Datta took me on as a patient when 6 or 7 other orthopedic surgeons would not even give me the help of a consultation. Dr. Datta looked at my many diagnostic images to review the reasons behind the intense and excruitiating nerve pain resulting from prior surgery. He could see what no others would even try to diagnose. I am now pain free after 6 years of sciattic nerve pain. Dr Datta has impeccable credentials and certainly the empathy to give the patient new hope to live.

I waited several months for first appt. Wasn't crazy about having to see PA first instead of doctor but I did. She was very nice, listened well and took her time with me & ordered all the tests. Then set me up for injections with Dr.Data also a follow up appointment with Dr. Data. I like Dr . Data he takes his time thoroughly addresses your concerns. I have had two injections so far and they give a lot of relief but it does not last for long periods of time. Surgery will be in the future.

You see a PA (very nice). After 2 month wait for an appointment with Dr. Datta, the BACK Center called me to cancel. But told me they have an appointment 3 months in the future. 5 months to see a doctor is not worth it. My experience after two visits with a PA, wait times are long. Dr. Datta may be a good doctor but nobody is so good that they can't get fired. PA prescribed a study. I was scheduled. Then, they would not accept their own script. I had to go elsewhere.

Dr. Datta did two " cement pouring" procedures on my lower back in preparation for a "big" reconstructive surgery. This took care of two fractures and most of the pain. The subsequent surgery was equally effective. I don't think anyone even compares with Dr D in the knowledge and performance of his surgery and his thoughtful and caring attitude.

My wife made an appointment 2 months ago. Upon arrival, we could see a PA not the doctor. Why would someone pain wait 2 months to see a PA? They told us they wanted X-rays and a new MRI. We got the impression they were milking Medicare in refusing to use a recent MRI film. The office is massive and must be expensive to run. When we complained they said it was their policy. Our take was that if someone wants to perform more unnecessary procedures they would also preform unneeded surgery.

Things must be getting better with his office. I was never rescheduled. I never had to wait more than 10-15 min. This was my first visit and he had a plan for me and next steps/ surgery options. Explained everything very well, and let me ask questions along the way. Took the necessary time with me. I was overall very pleased. K.H.

Horrible , waited 2 hrs to see him.then no introduction , no assessment . Came in door asked why i was wearing a neck collar , made fun of me for my brain injury . Accessed my neurologist records and complaned on howlong they were. I had seen A. Gregg , also his pain management doctor , Dr.Sassano . He could have been reading there reports . Looked at my mri finally , and said that 2 of my disc needed to be replaced , laughed as he said that a no brainer !

Stay away from this office. He has too many patients and you have to wait up to 2 months to get in and see him. Worse than the VA.
