Over the last year and a half almost everyone of my appointments has been rescheduled, or the doctor was more than two hours behind schedule for the appointment. My most recent appointment was for a telemed followup. I was contacted less than 24hrs before the appointment and told that the appointment was canceled and that someone would call to reschedule. He has been my doctor over 10 yrs , performing many back surgeries to keep me on my feet. I would recommend him to anyone with back pain.
Dr Datta had to fix a L1-L5 lumbar fusion for me where the existing hardware was coming loose from a previous surgery of another doctor. He did an excellent job and it took him over 5 hours to do it, longer than expected, but it was great to find a doctor that cares enough to do the job right. I would definitely recommend Dr Datta if you have to have back surgery, although you need to make sure its your last resort because a lot can go wrong and its better if you can avoid it if possible. I’ve had 2 surgeries by Dr Datta and he changed my life
Dr. Datta listens to his patients would rather do all the tests before Surgery! However if surgery is necessary you could not have the best Surgeon on your side!

One of the BEST Orthopedic surgeons out there! Whoever left the bad reviews of him has to be mad at the facility where he works, not him. As for bedside manner, he is the FRIENDLIEST, NICEST, down-to-earth person you would ever meet, and not a typical disinterested doctor. Dr. Datta fixed my lumbar S1, L4, & L5 and last year I had a cervical fusion I was in so much pain. He is by far hands down the absolute BEST. I have referred so many people to him, they are very happy with him too!
