Iv been attending for over decade now been through countless key workers I have chronic issues, all you get by way of support is a script and constant risk assessment to cover there arse… I don’t think it’s the key workers because they all the same, it’s systemic to DHI

Was assigned a support worker. Did my assessments. She promised to help with housing, she never contacted the organisations that she said she would. She told me the wrong day to go see them. Since then her phone has been off and no one answers at the centre. I've done nothing wrong, I keep trying to do the right things and jump through the systems hoops and answer all their questions, and follow their advice, and it's got me absolutely nowhere. I think you're letting people down

I've been on the Maintaining Sobriety course before but after a stint detoxing in hospital DHI and the BRI have worked well to get me in ASAP and back on the course. The communication has been great and everyone there understands addiction. Help is always there when you ask for it.

DHI got me into a weekly meeting, and a keyworker which was very helpful and also offered me several helpful links and we're able to refer me to other places that really help like the Swan Project and a boxing centre People are more likely to leave negative reviews than positive ones, especially whilst going through a hard part of their lives, so I thought I would leave a positive one They're kind and caring people, there is a huge issue with drugs in Brustol so they are naturally going to be stretched thin, but if you need ... read more
