Had an amazing meal and experience! Great vibe, comfortable, clean and unique place. I loved the menu and how descriptive it was. They also have a large selection of gluten free options, (with a GF symbol next to the names on the menu) which was fantastic for my sister. The service was great, very friendly, fast and helpful! I had the tofu catfish nuggets and mac and cheese. I paid 20 bucks for 4 nuggets and two serving of mac and cheese. The food was good no doubt. I know tofu is cheap and I think they should serve at least 6 tofu catfish nuggets instead of four, Other than that the food was good. I ordered carryout.

I became a vegan the 1st of this year and it is hard finding a restaurant that serves vegan dishes. Well I must say that Detroit Vegan Soul has past the test. I had the Seitan Pepper Steak with Brown rice, Sesame broccoli and a couple of glasses of their finest purified water. The food and service was excellent. I give them 5 stars.
Absolutely thrilled. We went for my 11 year olds birthday tonight. She is a vegetarian, I am not. We shared to wraps and all the sides. Plus a couple smoothies! Food was fantastic, fresh, and plenty of it! Plus at the end of the meal she got piece of cake as a birthday gift! Very very good and we will be returning!!
Food was great and price was fair. About $9-12 per person plus tip. The food was all very good there was 4 of us and we tried a bit of each other's dish. Only negative was it's a rather small place so you may have to wait a few for a table of 4 and a group larger than that may be tough. But the restaurant was clean and the staff was very kind.
