I had lunch here yesterday for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! I got the bbq tofu with potato salad. It was divine! And I would love to know what was on the steamed kale on the side... it tasted sort of buttery and salty and amazing! I would love to be able to re-create that kale at home. Seriously the best food. Had the deep fried broccoli, sesame kale salad and red potatoe fries. Soooooooo good!
Yesterday was my 1st time dining with this establishment and it was a great and satisfying experience! Amazing Dishes, Amazing Service, & Amazing Atmosphere. The wait for our food was longer than I would prefer but the food was amazing so it kinda made up for it. We ordered food to go and definitely plan on returning-Soon!
Food was amazing! I'll definitely be going back. Only disappointment was that the vegan strawberry milkshake tasted more like a strawberry smoothie then a milkshake.

I Finally got to experience DVS and was totally sold. I have compiled a list of the items to try next which also includes Sunday brunch. Not only was my Soul Platter fabulous but the waitstaff was amazing and extremely helpful. A very clean, cozy, friendly environment. I will definitely be back and I wont be waiting until my next birthday.
Had one of the greatest meals of my life here. The cafe itself was beautiful, the staff was awesome, and the food was incredible!

Takes over an hour to get food and then they bring our plates out five minutes apart and it was three of us very rude... we sat at the bar and noticed people coming in placing orders and receiving their food before ours hit the table after being seated already for 30 mins I'm very disappointed because I love black owned business y'all have to do much better I'll try them again next year
