I'm not vegan, however my daughter is and we recently stopped by Detroit Vegan Soul and had an awesome experience. I've been a few times in the past, but it had been a while. I was pleased that it was still as good as I remembered.
I have been here multiple times and each time I receive not only incredible customer service but amazing food as well. The Southern Fried Tofu wrap is to die for.
Great selection, cool vibe, love DVS!!!! Don't forget to get a T-shirt.
I love their vegan meals. It was my 4th times. I look forward for a new restaurant in Detroit West.
Parking was a little bit of a mess but the food was delicious. I ordered yams,cornbread, greens, Mac n cheese and some black eyed peas. I couldn't believe it was all vegan. I definitely plan on taking another trip down there.
As soon as I walked up to the restaurant I could feel the great vibes of the restaurant. Every part of the experience was top notch from when we were seated until I paid for our food. The Soul platter is really good and filling. I'm glad this restaurant was recommended to me

Taylor, our waitress, was so pleasant- as were all other members of staff. My friend and I- both from CLE- ordered as much as we could conceivably eat and enjoyed all of it but the collard greens were our favorite!
The fried broccoli is wonderful! Must try and the staff was very nice at helping me make my food choices.
