RecommendedI have rented from Destination Big Bear and Big Bear Luxury Properties for several years. I have been speaking to them concerning a cabin, and was told it was on hold. I then called, they took my credit card info, and booked the cabin. 5 minutes later I was called back and was told the cabin was already booked, and there was nothing left for 3 nights. We have 3 families that go to Big Bear annually around the end of this month. We book a cabin that accommodates all of us. Destination Big Bear has always helped us with our needs to find such a place. Tarra and the rest of the staff are always very friendly and has gone above and beyond for us yearly. The cabins we book are all beautiful and fully stocked with what we need to enjoy our weekend! Can’t wait to go again really soon!!! They truly are the best company if you ever need to book a stay in Big Bear!!
We stayed at "Hunkered Down" and had an AMAZING time!! It was such a comfortable home to stay in. We escaped the big city for a few days and we couldnt of stayed in a nicer place. My dogs were right at home on the provided dog beds and they had a great time in the dog run running through the leaves. This place had everything we could of needed right down to the beautiful claw foot bathtub that I soaked in twice! It was so amazing!! I cant wait to go back! Very good customer service till the end. I was trying to book a cabin for my boyfriends 20th birthday, mentioning this to both representatives and going phone call to phone call and getting emails upon emails to when we were sent the contract is said we had to be 25 years of age to rent. I don't know if it's me but I feel it should be there responsibility to ask questions such as age before offering rates and cabins.
