Very poor after-sales service. I paid over £400 for a Desser armchair and the cane weave began breaking down shortly after purchase. Instead of addressing the quality issue, Desser immediately blamed me without evidence. They repeatedly hid behind a “warranty” position rather than dealing with their responsibilities under UK consumer law, and then offered a so-called 'goodwill repair' while expecting me to pay £85 for professional fitting. We ordered a 3 seater sofa based on the picture on the website. This was to match the 2 seater and footstools we have already (see pic). The new sofa, which we did not order, shouts at the other furniture. We assumed that the default cushion cover pattern was as per the picture. Not a bit of it...Desser does not supply the cover pattern in the pictures! So we now have a 3 seater sofa that does not match the other furniture. Extremely disappointing customer service experience. I dealt with a representative named Mark, who was not only unhelpful but also quite rude. I received a damaged item, and when I tried to return it, I was told it was my problem because the courier had already taken the box. Instead of focusing on resolving the issue, Mark argued with me over the packaging — completely disregarding the fact that the product they delivered was faulty. Bought a Papasan chair two years ago. We have not used it a lot. A piece of bamboo broke the other day. I have been told the warranty was only one year I was offered a replacement for 125 pounds. I am disappointed with the quality and their proposal.
