I called requesting an appointment for a new onset of an infection in my skin close to my eye (Friday). They had an appointment the following Monday. When asked the covid screening questions, I informed the receptionist I had just gotten over covid and as of Friday I was off quarantine (and symptom free). I was informed I could not be seen the following Monday but could do a virtual visit the following Wednesday. I said that would be too late for an INFECTION near my EYE. I can't speak for Dermatology PC but my visit with Megan Ferguson was excellent. She was patient, gentle, and she explained things to me which put me completely at ease. She gave me a thorough body examination and did not seem hurried to get to the next patient. During the medical procedure she was so gentle while talking me through it, I hardly felt any discomfort. I will definitely see her for my next dermatology exam.

I recently moved to California after being a patient of Tonia Ackerman at Dermatology PC. After seeing Tonia in June and July of 2017 we finally got on a regime that worked for me. I followed up in September and everything looked great so she told me I didn’t need to come back for a year. Apparently, unbeknownst to me, my prescription has run out. (West Des Moines clinic). Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. I was referred to them by my primary physician; I was scheduled for an exam and operation ASAP *the results of which have been excellent*! Thank you & happy New Year to all at Dermatology PC!
Making me wait 50 minutes for a scheduled appointment means I will not be back. But it was cool that they let the doctor's financial planner in with the retirement statements while they left me to sit in the lobby longer! Very rude staff, poor service. Too bad.
