It has been very frustrating every step of the way getting answers and problems resolved thru the unemployment office from not getting through the phone numbers and then inadequate email responses back from unemployment office.
I received a letter last week stating to call within five days because my first two weeks were denied, I accidentally hit yes for refusal of work when it should have been no. I’ve been trying to call since and have had no luck and have continued to try along with my children trying too from their phones. I’m calling 302.761.8446, over 600 calls now and still nothing. Fix your phone system and answer the phones! How is anyone expected to live after being unexpectedly laid off when they cant even get income after jumping through all of your hoops? This system is terrible and seriously flawed. This is affecting peoples lives.
Fix the phone system. It's ridiculous to call over 200 times and never even have a recording answer!
I keep call to find out where my money is every hour everyday and get no answer. Low Income family that needs the money so they can pay their bills. Every time i call i can never talk to a real person. I really need the money. I guess going homeless is not your problem. The worst ever
Still waiting since 3/12 got a paper 3/23 about how much I’d get. Yet can’t call to file anything I didn’t get a number. Can’t get through email, or phones. Constantly calling. This is ridiculous DE needs to step it up!
I’ve called over 200 hundred times with every time being busy or being disconnected I filed the last week of March received papers in the mail as well as a 0 dollar deposit in my bank account to Make sure it works have checked in the last two sundays and still haven’t received anything... Nobody should have to wait over four weeks for unemployment. They never update their system. Takes 100+ times to get through on the phone to wait two hours on hold if your lucky enough to not get disconnected. I was told I did everything correct & I been filing my weekly claim for four weeks now. If you don’t want to pay people unemployment atleast hire people....
