They do not respond to any emails in this dire need of assistance when other states are readily available. They are leaving their citizens to default in rent and bills
My husband has been out of work because of COVID 19 since Monday the 16th and hasn’t gotten any responses or unemployment payments yet! What’s the problem?? Why aren’t you answering emails which is your recommended form of communication. We are a family of 5 to support and he was the bulk of the income. We have a roof over our kids heads and mouths to feed.
The whole situation is a complete mess. I get they are overwhelmed but I have emailed 3x since last week, which is their preferred method of contact right now due to call volume and no response. I have tried to call the local offices and it doesn't even ring it just disconnects. You cant even walk into the office without an appointment and you can't get an appointment because there is no one answering the phones!
Answer emails and phones!
The phone disconnects every time I call and then the email I sent is undeliverable. People depend on unemployment to get them through difficult times and for this department of the state to handle business in this manner is despicable.
Can’t get through to a person on the phone and offices are closed! What are we supposed to do??
RecommendedI learned everything about being a good state worker; I had wanted to see what working for the state was all about. I learned a lot of good information. The pay could have been just a little bit better
