Dr Chang is a skilled surgeon! My knee had 3 previous surgeries that did not provide any improvements so the decision to replace was difficult for me. Dr Chang cleaned up past hardware and gave me a new life! My replacement is 10 years old and functions like it’s brand new! So when the other knee needed replaced, I did not hesitate to go to Dr Chang. My knee replacement surgery was all I could have hoped for. Dr Chang made this possible. He is patient and extremely professional. The scar is nearly invisible and has to be the shortest knee replacement scar I've ever seen. I will definitely have Dr. Chang perform the surgery if my other knee ever needs to be replaced.
Dr. Chang replaced my right hip. He did an excellent job. I highly recommend Dr. Chang and the team at Rose.
I was apprehensive about the whole hip replacement procedure, but it turns out I should not have been. Everything went smoothly. Dr. Chang, the staff, the facility, everything involved in the procedure was tops. The whole thing was a marvel to me. I hope I do not have to go through it again, but would chose Dr. Chang without question.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. I was only in the waiting room for one minute before i was whisked to an exam room. In total, I was in and out in exactly one hour, and that included an X-ray. Dr. Chang was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable, though I can't say he was exactly warm. If a friendly bedside manner matters to you, he may not be the right physician for you. But I was perfectly happy. And I was quite happy with his PA who spent considerable time with me.
Has a very friendly way about him, comforting, and easy to talk about my arthritic left hip and nerve pain being generating from it. Clearly went over short and long term treatment options.
Dennis Chang is a thorough, talented surgeon.
I'll be having my knee surgery soon. So I'll be leaving a new one later. But so far I'm so excited, I've been wanting and needing this for over 20 years. I've heard so many good things about Dr. Chang. I like him and his staff,very confident,knowledgable,informative, patient and nice caring people. I was very nervous at first now I can't wait. I'll let you all know how it goes.
i am 74 and have been a very active individual and because of my over activity I have had a few problems over the years. I came to Dr Chang many years ago from my consultations with Dr Francis Yamamoto for whom I have great respect. He counseled AGAINST surgery when other doctors wanted to "cut me up". Some of my ailments cleared themselves up without surgery! Not my hip. Dr Yamamoto had retired and he introduced ne to Dr Chang. Excellent surgeon! Hip is great! Next? knee replacement!
