Excellent surgeon. Thorough, communicative, compassionate. Takes time to understand patient concerns and explain treatment alternatives and outcome expectations.
My experience with Dr. Chang was excellent. He was referred to me by another highly respected doctor for a hip replacement. He did the job with zero complications and was most attentive in his follow ups with me. I will always recommend him highly!!

So very often I have wished that Dr. Chang would have been the surgeon who replaced my right hip in 2008. That doctor performed the posterior approach (long story). Then I met and immediately agreed to have Dr. Chang replace my right hip in 2014 using the much more updated anterior procedure. So much easier— with so much better results. And my replaced right hip has always allowed me a free range of activities without most restrictions. When I have to have my knee replaced it will be done by Dr. Chang. I had a right hip replacement done by Dr.Chang and it went perfectly.
Dr. Chang did my revision hip surgery. As well as being highly skilled, he was kind, answered questions and had a sense of humor.
I have had Dr. Chang see me through 2 total knee surgeries over the last few years, and I am very pleased at the work done in surgery and the aftercare. He and his staff are conscientious and thorough in their follow up care. I have done better than most of my friends who have had similar surgeries in the same time period.
I was at Dr. Chang's office because i have been having trouble with m y left knee that was replaced 14 years ago. The reception as I came into the office was cheerful, helpful and quick. I did not wait long to begin the appointment. I needed xrays and the tech was great. Once again they were done in a very timely manner.
