My Wife and I took a short winter break at Deanwood Holiday Cottages and Campsite and could not have been more pleased! We've never been to the forest of Dean before and this location was right next door to it allowing easy access. And when I say next door I mean five yards outside our door (Swallow Cottage) was a gate into the the woods which was perfect since we had our young spaniel with us for his first vacation! Lovely site in a great location with gates from the site into the forest. The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful on arrival. Toilets and showers were spotless. The enclosed dog field was a bonus!
Stayed in motorhome.Nice ,clean facilities.Had a trip on the Dean Forest steam train.Nice walk to the station,but wicked hill to climb to get home!
Lovely campsite, the pitches are large with great views. The facilities are really good!!
