Best seafood restaurant that I've ever been to. My wife had her birthday party there, and a year later I had my birthday party there, both times with 30 or more guests and family members from all around the country and nothing but praises. The food was excellent and the staff was accommodating. I eat here every time I come to New Orleans. Can't come with that out of town attitude honey, they will not put up with your I'm broke and on a budget crap....lol
The manger is very rude we had 15 people in our party. For one the waitress did not do a good job. When we got our food it was cold. Then when I took a bite of my soft shell crab it was spoiled. Just so happen another party at a different table was complaining as well. When I got my ticket for a giant platter and a small platter with 2 adult soda and 2 kids soda with one fruit punch the mini $10 for the 3 bad no good smelling soft shell crab my total was $154.00. The barbecue shrimp are the best in the world!!!! If you are looking for the authentic New Orleans cuisine, this is the place.
Everyone in this place was RUDE. From the hostess to the manager. Our waiter was awesome poor thing. I’m sure he suffers a lot due to the attitudes of the hostesses and managers. They all need to take a class on customer service or get New careers.
We had dinner on Tuesday night. Our servers name was Samantha. She gave us 3 recommendations and we ordered 2 of the 3. Simply the best seafood we have ever had. Samantha was fabulous and patient with all our questions. I cannot say enough about the food. The BBQ shrimp was absolutely delicious !!
Be Warned!!! A 20% gratuity was added to our bill without being told!!! And then another line is added to the bill for another tip!!! We’re not very happy about our last meal at Deanies! The service was not very good and they had the audacity to add a 20%tip right to the bill! The meal was okay, but not as memorable as the last time we came to New Orleans.... not impressed at all!!
