Savor local delights like Calamari, Bucktown Boil Pizza and fried chicken at Deanie's Seafood Restaurant. This petite eatery is a favorite with people who want to have a hearty and filling meal without burning a hole in their pockets. Enjoy the freshness of seafood in the sumptuous meal of bacon or shrimp served here. The extensive wine list adds to the delightful experience. Dine here once and you'll surely be looking forward to visit this place again.

Drinks and food are excellent and the staff is even better. Food comes out fast even when crowded, my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The stuffed mushrooms is exceptional.
Great food. Horrible waiting time and are so unorganized with it. Skip people and pick who they want to get seated next.
Customer service including the "manager" Larry is horrible. Literally shrugged his shoulders when I made him aware of an issue I had. Will NEVER support again
Please DO NOT support this restaurant! I walked in to the Deanies at 2200 Magazine St and the female owner was yelling and screaming at one of the guys working there. He answered her question calmly with a yes and she gets up close and screams, "That's yes ma'am when you answer me!" Amazingly this man kept his cool the whole time. He kept his head down and looked very embarrassed. After seeing her attitude and how she touched the food with her bare hands two guys waiting for food said to cancel their order. Rude to employees. Touching food without gloves. No thanks.
I went to the one in buck town a few months back and my drink from the bar was terrible. So I kindly asked to switch it out, they told me no and that I would still have to pay for it. Haven’t been back since and won’t be back!!!
I went to the new location on Jackson and Magazine and LOVED it! I've been a big Deanie's fan my whole life and was not disappointed. Service and quality of food exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend the charbroiled oysters : )
After watching the owner yell and scream at her employees, then watching her stick her bare hands in the food, we left. We’ll never be back.
