RecommendedThe nursing staff, lab staff, etc were all exceptionally great! Especially during this time when my family and I had no idea what was going on!
This is a fantastic hospital our family of 7 is seen here. I will say you should talk with your nurses in the ER we were there Saturday afternoon/evening for my husband and some of the nurses had crappy attitudes and I also overheard two of them cussing while pushing patients down the hallway for testing. I know that is not how you want your employees representing the hospital. 🤨
My mom just left Gateway after having major brain surgery to remove a tumor. I just want to brag on Gateway for a minute. From the time we started pre op treatments, through the surgery, stay in ICU and finally to a regular room, they were amazing with her! Everyone was so nice and helpful and took excellent care of her. While we were visiting each corner we turned someone was asking if we needed anything or needed help finding something. The drive from Owensboro to Gateway made all the difference!

12/7/2016, I walked into gateway just one week after I was taken by ambulance to Henderson Methodist (nothing done) with severe abdominal pain and difficulty breathing just three weeks after giving birth to my daughter. They swiftly diagnosed it as a gallbladder issue and said I’d be admitted to have it out tomorrow.
