Joy Riding my vehicle I brought my vehicle in to have the oil changed. When I got it back 4 hours later, it had an extra 23 miles on the odometer, a cracked windshield, and several deep scratches in the passenger side fenders and door. A friend saw my vehicle being driven by two strangers (it has personalized plates) in the nearby town of White Center. Burien Toyota denies any wrong doing and refuses to pay for the damages.
Sleazy new car purchase experience I called the salesman and asked if they would agree to $500 over invoice, and they would show me the invoice. He verified that his manager had approved the deal. When I got there, the salesman showed me a bogus hand made sheet showing approximately $2,000.00 in fabricated charges. When I confronted them, they finally produced the actual invoice which verified that they lied to me and tried to cheat me. Didn't Fix Vehicle I was disgusted with this business when they charged $900 to "fix" the check engine light. It wasn't fixed. Second time vehicle was brought in they found an additional $400 problem. The check engine light stayed off for a few days after spending $1,300 with the dealership and now is back on. I strongly suggest you do not trust this dealership.
The BEST place to buy or have repairs done! We have had several interactions with Burien Toyota and have never been let down! We purchased a vehicle with them, during which time we were never pressured and they went out of their way to help when we were ready. From browsing to purchasing, they were great! When it came time to have work done on our car, we were even happier! Scam Watch these guys like hawks. They'll give you a privacy notice and tell you that they sell your information - but there's no check box to opt out. You must write it on the form. They'll also demand personal information and when you challenge them on that, they'll claim its federal law that you provide it.
Thanks for above and beyond service! Years ago, when buying our first new car, we had so many negative experiences with dealers that is was refreshing when we went to Burien Toyota. Hard Sell. High Pressure. Terrible Service. These people use an extremely hard sell and extremely high pressure tactics. You don't get what you want, but you end up paying thru the nose. And forget about service. On a scale of 1 to 10 they rate a -189, which is the number of years before I will ever willingly deal with them again.
Route 22 Toyota is not getting my business I went on line and clicked through an IM chat button to confirm that one vehicle had a sunroof, which I was assured it did. When I arrived, there was no parking and a slew of sales reps who were hanging out. It took a while for someone to actually help us.
