Awful! Don’t use them.
DC law have been absolutely horrific to deal with. every person in our chain of 8 has been ready to exchange for weeks and DC law have made no efforts to quickly process their enquiries. You can’t get hold of your solicitor, just straight to voicemail every time and they’ll only return your call when they’re ready. If I were to move again I would not only avoid DC law as a solicitor, I’d probably avoid a chain that is using them even if it means buying a different home.
Very efficient and easy process to action without causing delay
Our solicitor, Laurence did his utmost to keep everything on track - he practically supervised the buyers' solicitors, who were extremely slow, made excuses for delays, telling the buyers they didn't have information that had already been sent to them, and they appeared to be incapable of answering emails for some reason. Laurence persevered with them, and basically continued to chase them every step of the way to get the sale completed.
