Dawsons always outdoes themselves/ yes, the food is consistently good, but the bar staff...THEY are ROCKSTARS. Always.
A few of the male servers are very rude and abusive. Will assault you if you voice your displeasure and throw you out. I'm seeking additional witnesses to the assault on me Saturday night (Feb 25th), during the Mardi Gras event. Server was extremely rude to the customers standing behind the bar chairs, saying "Get out of the way!" We responded, "Would you like us to leave?", to which he grabbed my full beer and smashed it on the floor, then began roughing me up, running me into the glass door, head first. Dawson's on Main never fails!!! Great atmosphere, staff, and food!!! Portion size on the food will not leave you feeling hungry! I always have a take out box because I can't finish but my boyfriend manages to eat every bite leaving stuffed!!! The bartender has been there every since I can remember and treats you like a charm! Great place! We'll keep coming back!!
First time there. Very warming atmosphere. Lunch was great. Had the wedge and a gumbo soup. Look forward to trying dinner soon. A must try in Indy.
