We see it is a wonderful place to be. They all work together to help you
My Pop Pop was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. Immediately after finding out he had cancer, he called Fox Chase since he had successfully defeated prostate cancer back in 1999. He always raved about how wonderful and caring the doctors and staff are! He was admitted on April 21st for his biopsy confirmation but unfortunately passed away on May 7th at Fox Chase. Great facility, professionalism all around!! They take care of you as if your are family! Would recommend Fox Chase Cancer Center to all. I had my Stem Cell Transplant there a year ago June 17th and it was by far the best decision I made.
If you or a loved one ever gets the horrifying news (leukemia/cancer), my suggestion is to contact the wonderful people at Fox Chase. I speak from experience. When first diagnosed with AML, I was referred to another facility. Four months later my family and I realized a second opinion was needed. THEY ARE TRULY CARING AND RESPECTFUL TO THE PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILYS
Certainly helped my husband. Excellent staff and treats everyone with compassion and understanding like a medical environment should. Would highly recommend to anyone in need.
My husband had stage one lung cancer, they didn't waste any time taking care of it. Thank you Dr Scott. I found him very caring. My husband had trouble 4days later not related to the surgery & had to have emergency surgery @ 3:00 am. The surgical team was great, but he had a long recovery. Dr Esnaola & his team took very good care of him. The only thing is the long waits, which can take a lot out of a patient that has to travel.
