I had the 5 day radiation treatment for prostate cancer designed and administered by Dr. Shelley Hayes. That was 3 months ago and today everything is great. The first three doctors I talked to recommended surgery, but after research, I wanted to try the Cyberknife process to avoid the nearly certain complications of surgery. Fox chase cancer center is the best. If you have to go through cancer you will be in good hands. I'm blessed to have a doctor who is wonderful.
The staff are very slow, for a appointment already established, we have to wait hours to be seen! !
Fox Chase is the best it gets!! My mom was at Virtua hospital in nj. They read her MRI wrong, that was 3 doctors looking at it. Took her to Jefferson hospital in Philadelphia. Jefferson missed a cancer spot in her lung and didnt read the mri correctly. She has stage 4 cancer in 3 different spots and he wanted to use a very passive treatment process that would contain tge cancer and not kill it. Now We are with Fox Chase and I know mom is in the best hands possible
My mom received great medical care, but the staff at the ancillary office in Huntingdon Valley needs some serious training. We waited an hour in the waiting room for an appointment with a nurse. Only when we asked, did anyone pay attention. Turned out the nurse wasn't even in the office. Many excuses and not a single apology later, we left. Medicine is most important but customer service is a very close second. Theirs was sorely lacking.
Dr. Reddy and the entire team at Fox Chase Cancer Center is the best Cancer Hospital. They put patient care first and that is the most important part of having cancer. My wife just got operated on for colon cancer and they removed all the womens parts and resectioned her colon. Phase 2 Chemo, Dr Reddy removed a mass the size of a Mango on her right side and the pathology report came back as follows all 32 nodes negative. The dedicated and superbly skilled Fox Chase team are outstanding in all aspects of their wide fields of expertise. Many thanks to Doctors Lango, Veloski, Sorenson, Smith and the nurses and staff that made my recent procedure seamless and successful. My apologies to anyone I didn’t thank by name. There were so many of you great professionals it was hard to keep track! Fox Chase earns its reputation patient by patient and just as important,each patient is treated as a respected individual.
