First the receptionist was friendly and professional and actually called me back when they said they would, then James at David Kear kindly saw me same day for a painful eye infection. He checked my eye out thoroughly and emailed findings to the doctor to prescribe antibiotics and eye drops. He then called at close of business to check I had been able to get the antibiotics okay. Outstanding service and a thoroughly nice and professional optometrist. I would definitely recommend

Absolutely Outstanding Service – Highly Recommend! We’ve been using David Kear Opticians for a while now, and they have always looked after our little boy Monty, who’s now 3 years old. They are absolutely brilliant with him – so patient and kind – and he actually loves going there to pick out new glasses, which says a lot! On Friday, Monty accidentally bent his glasses and the lenses popped out. We rushed up to the Cinderford branch, and they saw us straight away with no appointment. Very impressed . Have dealt with David Kear for a number of years first class service . The arm of one pair of glasses became detached . I called in no appointment and the glasés were repaired no charge in less than 10 minutes. Good local business

Good service but poor quality frames. Glasses lasted only six months before the frames fell apart. Over £175 wasted. Should have returned to specsavers.

A new patient and couldn’t be more impressed! Was recommended by a friend and yes, Hannah the optician is amazing! The reception staff are so helpful and friendly, the dispensers are very knowledgeable and equally helpful. First pair of glasses I’ve had from DK and the quality of the glazing is superb. Best I’ve ever had. So pleased with the service so far and very reassured that my eyes are in such capable hands. Thank you everyone at DK Cinderford.
