I immediately liked Dr. Kaufman and his staff. If you have an appointment at 10am, then you are in his office at 10am. He never keeps his patients waiting. Everyone there is very professional and yet interested and concerned for your welfare. I went to him specifically for issues with my knee. Dr. Kaufman and his team were wonderful and very professional. my surgery and recovery went very smoothly and I feel great.
Dr. Kauffman did my knee replacement on November 19 and all I can say is that he did absolutely the best for me . My recovery went very fast ahead of schedule. I waited for three years I should have done it sooner.
Dr. Kaufman and his assistant, Karla, were professional in their assessment and treatment of my hip. Prior to surgery I had much pain in my hip/back areas that caused a pronounced limp and grimaced face. Six weeks later I am in great shape and greater spirits sporting a smile on my face.
I would like to begin by expressing incredible gratitude for doctors like Dr. Kaufman whose excellence and professionalism needs to be acknowledged. Dr. Kaufman and Karla are great to work with. Both are very kind and genuine. They are interested in the person and overall health and well-being. When I had my right hip replacement Dec 2018 everything was very well explained and the before and after care was 5 stars. At the Lake Forest location I never have to wait very long - in the waiting room or office before being seen.
I have the pleasure to say, Dr. Kauf is the most pleasant doctor I have ever meet in my life. (smiley face) Dr. Kaufman performed a right anterior hip replacement on me and it was such a success that I was back to work and back in the gym in less than 4 weeks. WOW! I suggest to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon to please consider this wonderful doctor, it will truly be worth your while.
Had left hip replacement. Everything went according to plan and healed nicely. I felt very comfortable with Dr. K and the staff at Both Lake Forest Hospital and Northwestern in Grayslake.
After breaking my tibia plateau, I went to Dr. Kaufman and subsequently had surgery. He was very thorough in his explanations and answered all my questions. I immediately felt like I was in good hands & would highly recommend him!
