Dr. Hatfield is a good guy and a great surgeon who will do everything he can to help you.
I'm so glad after reading the very few reviews this doctor has that he turned me away. Says, nothing surgically can be done for me. Funny how he came to that conclusion, since he didn't even have the time to review my new MRI images or findings letter. This MRI he needed before making any decision on whether he would see me or not. Thanks Dr. Hatfield for doing me a huge favor and turning me away and waisting my precious time.
Dr. Hatfield was really great. He discussed my back problems with me at the right level of detail, and even took the time to explain them again to my wife, who wasn't there the first time. He did not recommend any unnecessary procedures, and left me feeling optimistic and well-informed. If you're looking for an unbiased, knowledgeable opinion about your back problems, Dr. Hatfield is right for you.
Dr. Hatfield did a great job walking/talking me through the process. The surgery was fine and the experience was as expected for having surgery. I felt informed and had ownership in the decision of when it was done. Pragmatism is a lost art but not on Dr. Hatfield.
DONT GET BACK SURGERY THROUGH HERE!!! I called the clinic to ask Dr. Hatfield's team to prescribe a stronger pain medication for my wife since she had just had surgery. I was very upset because I had originally told them that she has a very high tolerance for medications. When they called me back they pretty much told me she had to deal with this pain.
