We stayed for 3 nights at The Lookout cottage in October 2024, booked directly with Toni through their website. Toni and Ned are great hosts. It was a fun experience to walk across the causeway at low tide and to spend a day on the island without leaving. The views, quiet and darkness cannot be beat. We loved watching the highland coo residents, and playing board games in the observatory. We would stay here again for a longer period of time next time!
This is the best location and even during a storm we were so snug. Would recommend this place strongly

Got back yesterday from a short break at the lighthouse keepers cottage. Everything about the trip was absolutely perfect. Ned picked us up from Campbeltown, which was a massive help as the bus we had been planning on getting wasn't running due to a bank holiday. Also dropped us back in town as well which was very much appreciated. Both he and Toni are lovely and so helpful. The cottage itself is lovely and well kept.
