I paid a private mechanic to come check the car I wanted to buy as well (due to past experiences) and the mechanic did a full check, and a very thorough driving test, and found nothing wrong. It was exactly as advertised, and for a very reasonable price. Excellent service.

I bought a BMW X1 last august 2023 and since then I have had to spend over £1,750 putting right all the things that it has thrown at me. The worst thing was that the EGR valve had been blanked off. When I asked the dealer to put this particular issue right his immediate response was to get a quasi legal outfit to write to me, telling me that he, the dealer, was unaware of this but that I could take the car to a a nearby garage to have the blanking plate removed.
