Just went through security at check point 3 (7:50 pm) for our United flight and were treated so horribly by a young TSA agent. So combative and rude. He made it very clear that he did not care about wearing a mask or spreading the coronavirus, as we are travelers and we were the people brought it to the Island. Terrible design, few amenities and shops, no charging ports at gates... it’s an airport from the 90s.
Since it is the only airport on Oahu I can’t not recommend it. It is by far the worst designed airport I’ve been through. It’s being updated now. But it won’t help with the fact you have a 15 min walk to the gates at the far end. And why is the ride share pickup up stares? When the baggage claim is downstairs? There are way more high end stores then places that serve food. Come on who in the right mind shops at the airport? It’s not a mall. It’s supposed to be an airport.
