Purchased a 2 tier ice cream cake from the shelf today for my niece's birthday. The cake was delicious until we found an extremely long dark hair on the inside, in the middle of the cake as we were cutting a slice. Completely disgusting. Attempted to call the East mount houston location to possibly seek a refund or exchange and return the cake to the store. It's 8pm and they are closed. Business hrs state 10:30 pm. Ordered a shake and 2 blizzards. They were terrible. The shake was watery. The blizzards were also too soft and the ice cream tasted off. I used to be a manager at a DQ years ago and it tasted like their soft serve mix was going bad and their machine wasn't set right. It wasn't cold enough to set. If you looked at the ice cream in a clear cup, you could see where it separated. Extremely unhappy.
Stopped for ice cream they took our order. Then took 4 orders they got there orders after ours. They got their orders before use and ran out of ice cream so we didn’t get ours I will be telling everyone I can not to go to the one on Westerns campus. Will be calling every day Union I can talk to a manager.
This Dairy Queen was terrible. There were 6-9 people "working" and not doing a thing. I ordered inside to take to go and so one initially made the sundae and set it down and then 10 minutes later the people who ordered after me got their things. I ordered 4 blizzards and not one person was making them as you can hear if they are mixing them. Meanwhile, the sundae has pretty much half melted. At least 6 girls working there, no one is wearing a mask and you’re allowing crowds of people into that tiny building? Poor excuse of a business.
