Danny came round and fixed a leaking gutter within minutes. A few days later he returned with his “crew” and they repointed the ridge tiles on the roof. The work was completed in an efficient manner and looks really neat. I have used the Company several times before and would highly recommend D Platts Roofing Services.
Neighbours a couple of doors down were getting roof job done today, and needed access through the gardens to get ladders in. No problem, I let the gates open, so did the other neighbours. I'm glad I was home when the roofers came as to my surprise I saw them deep in my garden (long way from the gates), trying to take out a panel of my fence! Top guy Danny . Came around to look at my daughters roof yesterday whilst I was in house and as promised popped back today after we got permission from the 3 adjoining neighbours to gain access at the back of our property with his very large treble ladders. But due to hazards and safety unbeknown to the(review previous) A safe route after gate was restricted and simply tried a safer access but told not too. Came to do repointing on Ridge tiles. Told me they'd be a 10 year guarantee which is the industry norm. The pointing fell off in chunks within a year or two, leaving me with the same if not worse problem than in the first place. He didn't repoint properly which involves taking out the old stuff n replacing it . He didn't repoint the chimney properly though he charged extra for that .Have called him repeatedly said he would come hasn't come n now won't return my calls. wont honour the guarantee .
