New to the area I called in to my LBS requiring a bolt for my cleat, they don't supply individual bolts so had to buy a cleat set which I understand and that's not the problem. The SH51 cleat set cost me £17.99 I thought it was expensive so getting home I Google it now I know online retailers will be cheaper I get that however prices were 7.99, 8.99 I looked at 8 stores none were over £10. Top quality service, excellent prices and super fast despatch.
I called in to Cycle Sense this morning to have a look at, and a chat about, a particular model of bike they stock. Right from the off I was given time and great advice from the gentleman who dealt with me (I regret I didn't catch his name). I also needed a few accessories and items of clothing - all good quality and reasonably priced. The shop itself caters to all tribes of cyclist and is welcoming and well laid out. Bought my Giant Road bike from there guys October 23. Time for a service due to freehub and suspected bottom bracket issue. Couldn’t be more pleased with the service diagnosed the issue being a peddle, freehub replaced and new chain and didn’t try and rip me off for a new cassette like others would. Bike back in half a day and managed to enjoy a ride in the afternoon. Very happy! Reasonable price also saves the faff doing it at home and breaking something.
