Curam is great if you want a carer who has been vetted and has reliable referees. Curam's fees after over 25%, 15% from the carer's fee and 12% charged to the client. The pleasure is that there are always jobs posted and clients can see what carer is offering and their general location and carer's insurance and learning modules for cpd are provided. Curam is a wonderful platform for finding carers that you get to choose and interview, who are all self employed, they have 8000 carers on their site and have a range of qualifications and carers that speak a multiple of languages. A great experience, it is a quick and efficient way to find a carer. I will deffinitely use them again.
Rebecca Hodgins was an absolute godsend after a sad diagnosis. She’s a fantastic carer and a truly compassionate human being who went the extra mile on every visit. She helped immensely on a practical level and was equally invaluable to my family on an emotional level. My parents grew very fond of her and I’ll always be grateful to her for making the last few months easier for all of us.
I am a little disappointed by the way I've been treated by 2 of your carers who are not professional by any means as they take things that matter to them greatly, too much. What I mean by that is that in a job where the client or patient should come first and be fully respected by the carer, no matter how strongly the carer feels about a particular thing.
