I hired them to replace "all" the galvanized pipe in my house with pex pipe and to install a new water heater. They cut many corners and damaged my AC unit without notifying me. They charged $600 to remove it from a utility room so they could install a "new" water heater that was all dinted up. They cut and spliced the AC power cord and taped it up then tried to hide it behind the cover. A no-no that avoids the unit's warranty. We had a problem. A copper water pipe in the concrete floor broke and made wet concrete and mil dewed carpet in our living room. It apparently had been leaking for a while. We called the regular plumber who came immediately. He jack hammered the concrete floor and found the leak. Next morning, we called his boss who came and made an estimate for re-piping our entire house. When we received the estimate we decided to call Cummings. Jason was timely, polite and solved the problem quickly.
The technician arrived promptly to give an estimate, and job was done the next day! Our leaky toilet was repaired in a very short time. I did have some trouble communicating, but that was partly due to my hearing impairment.
This company is a total rip-off. They charged $505 to replace 2 water stop valves under the kitchen sink. Original request for statement did not come till we requested a statement by phone, and when we told them the cost was excessive they said they would give us a 5% senior discount. Stay far away from this company. We will never use Cummings Plumbing again .
The plumbing service was great. The customer service from the office poor.
