My wife is currently in Cumberland infirmary in the maple C ward after breaking her ankle. It was so bad her foot was facing the wrong direction. The surgeon said that the nurses on the ward need to ice it every half hour to get the swelling down. Normally they can do these kinds of operations with swelling, but there's that much work to be done they can't go in and fix things with the swelling there. He said the swelling needs to come down asap because the longer they leave it without operating the worse it will be forever.... read more

Parking not fit for service, under staffed so long wait times even with an appointment.
Great kids A&E. Great Doctors and nurses. My daughter broke her wrist and the service we received from the start was amazing 🤩 Keep up the good work
