About this business

At Culinary Dropout, American comfort food tradition is thrown out the window for more innovation and creativity. For example as starters, the BBQ Pork Belly Nachos and Prosciutto Deviled Eggs followed by 36-Hour Pork Ribs as an entree all reveal something familiar, yet new at the same time. The drink menu is just as creative, especially the Two-Handed Shandies section; the 'After-school Special' made with raspberry tea infused tequila, ginger agave, lime and Modelo beer is phenomenal. Great food. Cocktail program is mediocre. Noise level too high. Overall a great concept.

We were there for New Year's Eve with reservations so we were seated promptly. We chose to do the 4 course special New Year's meal. Fantastic cuisine and service in a very cool warehouse. Really great live music played on the morning we visited and added a cool experience. Wait staff was topnotch. Chef Alex came out to chat with us and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our feast! Highly recommended for quality food, service, & atmosphere!

I've been here twice and had mediocre service. After we were seated the first time I visited, no one waited on us for a half hour. So I called the restaurant and the manager (I think) started waiting on us. The second time we were waited on, but sporadically. Ordered cocktails and watched them for fifteen minutes as they sat on the bar. As for the food: my chicken wings were barely warm (and slightly undercooked). What saved the visit was the bacon bloody Mary, which is awesome. Both visits were during the lunch rush, so per... read more
