About this business

At Culinary Dropout, American comfort food tradition is thrown out the window for more innovation and creativity. For example as starters, the BBQ Pork Belly Nachos and Prosciutto Deviled Eggs followed by 36-Hour Pork Ribs as an entree all reveal something familiar, yet new at the same time. The drink menu is just as creative, especially the Two-Handed Shandies section; the 'After-school Special' made with raspberry tea infused tequila, ginger agave, lime and Modelo beer is phenomenal. Tried it for AZ Restaurant Week - SIMPLY AWESOME!!! - there were 2 couples so we got to try a bunch of stuff. The Antipasti plate usually isn't my thing but I tried it and everything was wonderful! Also tried the pretzels and cheese which are legendary! The prime rib dip which I ordered was excellent and I heard good things about salmon and chicken too... for dessert I had the pie which was great but I got to try my wife's Caramel Corn topped Custard OMG There are no words!!! You just have to try it! At $44 per couple I decl... read more

Made reservations for 6:15 for a party of seven and got seated on time. My family really enjoyed the pretzel appetizer. The fried chicken was outta this world, I would highly recommend it. Great atmosphere and a good mix of young and "older" folks. The music was a little loud. But we had a great time!!

Made a reservation for 6 at 330 to eat before the ASU game. Was told that we could only have the table in the A/C bar area for 2 hours and would have to leave the table at 530. That sucked because we planned to stay to around 615. We were told we could sit in another part of the restaurant as long as we wanted. Only problem the room was 95 degrees and the coolers did not work well. Next time we will call up and make sure we can have the table for 3 hours before a game and not use the automated booking or go somewhere else. T... read more
