About this business

At Culinary Dropout, American comfort food tradition is thrown out the window for more innovation and creativity. For example as starters, the BBQ Pork Belly Nachos and Prosciutto Deviled Eggs followed by 36-Hour Pork Ribs as an entree all reveal something familiar, yet new at the same time. The drink menu is just as creative, especially the Two-Handed Shandies section; the 'After-school Special' made with raspberry tea infused tequila, ginger agave, lime and Modelo beer is phenomenal. Took our kids for dinner and opted for the self seating in back. Worked out great. The tables are set up for at least 8, they're a good 4-5 feet from the nearest patrons, and it was just busy enough that our kids weren't obnoxious to our neighbors. Service was a little on the slow side, but I'll admit it was right in the middle of the dinner rush. At least the adult beverages were promt. Definitely plan on hitting this place up on future trips to Phoenix.

I made dinner reservations for my birthday a week in advance for 12 when we got to the restaurant they said someone called and canceled my reservation. They did apologize and get us a table but it took about 40 min. The food and servers were great.
