About this business

At Culinary Dropout, American comfort food tradition is thrown out the window for more innovation and creativity. For example as starters, the BBQ Pork Belly Nachos and Prosciutto Deviled Eggs followed by 36-Hour Pork Ribs as an entree all reveal something familiar, yet new at the same time. The drink menu is just as creative, especially the Two-Handed Shandies section; the 'After-school Special' made with raspberry tea infused tequila, ginger agave, lime and Modelo beer is phenomenal. Well I would definitely call ahead to find out about seating. We were quoted an hour for a party of 3, luckily we were able to get seats at the bar. The drinks were good, ask your bartender what they're specialty is and go wirh it. The starters were really great, our entrees for the most part were good too. Visiting my son from Michigan. Recommended by a friend who just moved to Tempe. The staff overall was friendly. Tried two different craft cocktails which were very good. Had the pretzels and cheese dip which were a little bready but good (hot cheese dip was excellent). The ribs were great, friend had the fried chicken He said it was super! Would go back for sure!

The food here is excellent. It was my second time eating here and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The ravioli were incredible. Really everything was actually. The only area of opportunity would be less obvious drug use among the staff as it detracted from the experience.
