I recently had cataracts removed and replaced with new lenses in each of my eyes by Dr. Cu-Unjieng. The surgeries turned out perfectly. The blurry vision and bright flares while driving at night are gone so I can drive safely again. Also, for the first time in 60 years I do not need eye glasses except for reading! Dr. Cu-Unjieng has been my attending ophthalmologist for several years. His care and concern for my eye health is genuine. Recently he diagnosed that I had developed a cloudiness over the eye capsule where I had a cataract removed many years ago. He performed a Posterior Capsulotomy (laser surgery) in the eye, creating an opening in the cloudy capsule, allowing light to pass through again for clear vision. Dr. Cu-Unjieng performed cataract surgeries on both of my eyes. I am extremely happy with the results. I was impressed by his professionalism, precision and care. Dr. Cu called me the evenings on the dates of the surgeries to find out if everything is OK and how I feel. Everybody in his team at the office are excellent. I followed the protocol with applying drops after the surgeries. There are 1 week and 4 weeks appointments scheduled after the surgeries. Dr. Cu is very thorough in his exams. You must explain to him in specific terms what is bothering you and then he will address the issue.Both eyes have had cataract removal and I now have at least 20/20 both eyes
I went to Dr Cu to prevent possible complications from shingles. Dr Cu and his staff are diligent, friendly, prompt with office visits. I trust him with my eyesight and highly recommend that you do the same!!
