I have been going to Dr. Cu for about four years. I trust him to care for my eyes. He takes time with each patient to evaluate their eyes and to recommend exactly the treatment they need, whether it is something they can do themselves, a medication, or surgery. He always looks out for the best interests of the patient. I highly recommend him.
I went into Dr. Cu with a strange feeling in my eyes, not to mention the sudden floaters that i could see, and pain. Dr. Cu was extremely attentive to a condition he found and immediately sent me to a retina specialist. Once I got to Dr. Hanneken, she looked at the notes that Dr. Cu had sent and she was so impressed with his erudite notes that any questions she may have had were easily answered as per his notes. Dr. Andrew Cu-Unjieng has been taking care of my eyes for several years. When I required cataract surgery Dr. Cu-Unjieng carefully explained the procedure, answered my many questions and calmed my anxiety. The outcome exceeded my expectations - twenty-twenty vision in both eyes! His assistant, Michelle keeps the practice running smoothly. She is efficient, supportive and personable; the epitome of professionalism. Dr. Cu-Unjieng and Michelle are the very best. I are so grateful to have them looking after my eyes.
What stood out the exceptional ability of r. Cu. His awareness and attention to detail is amazing. He answered my questions and made sure I understood. I had a dire situation and Dr. Cu and Michelle took care of me.I am happy with quality of service and care I was given.
I can express my highest praise for the two cataract procedures that Dr. Cu performed givingme new lenses which resulted in the best vision I can remember! Not only the operations but alsothe pre-op and post ops which are part of the mandatory visual care overall. I was not able topass the DMV vision test prior to the procedures, but as of March 24th, I passed with no problem.
In the 3 years I have been seeing Dr, Cu, I have always been impressed with his attention to detail and extra care to verify readings and measurements. He has given great care through normal checkups and more alarming events, as I had this past month. He give good instruction for your own home care and is very patient and detailed in explaining processes. You never feel rushed. Hi staff (Michelle) is very good as well. AAA plus.

After having a retina detachment surgery 3 years ago, a cataract started progressing rapidly. So my retina surgeon referred me to Doctor Cu-Unjieng. The first time I called, the doctor was very booked, yet Michelle was able to get me an appointment.
