I have used CSBD on many different projects, from office refurbishments to shop fits and also on my personal home. The service has always been exceptional, nothing too much and a level of integrity and professionalism that you rarely see in the building industry. Always on time and hit the deadlines. Pricing is honest and they have always said “we will never be the cheapest but we will deliver” and this was the case. Appointed by my insurers after devastating damage to my listed home from major ingress of water. From first to last their team was courteous, helpful and professional. Plans and timetables were always delivered. Above all communications within the company and with me were exemplary. Problems were constructively and willingly addressed and communications with third parties were frictionless.
I have never written a review on Google before, but the previous comment by Mr Hammerson describes an experience so contrary to my dealings with CS Building and Design that I felt it important to record it here. Beware! You will be beguiled by amazing polite, well mannered, butter would not melt in my mouth pre contract service but this is nothing like I got once the contract was signed. Deceit and lies, short cuts, substituted cheaper material not to mention broken promises. Don’t turn your back for a moment. I checked twice a day, but they still pulled dishonest dealings when I was not looking. Be particularly aware of a project manager whose initials remind you of the manufacturers of roasted peanuts.
