Crystal blinds used to be a good company but now are just ripping people off for deposits without any intentions of carry out the work they have quoted they have been reported to trading standards and now I'm seeking small claims court to recover my deposit beware do not use
He took £1070 from us with the promise of blinds fitted in 2 weeks . A month later he is no longer contactable. I will be filing a court claim against him on Friday and will petition to have the company wound up if he doesn’t pay it. Also have reported to trading standards. Disgusting thief and con man. Cannot believe he can have the front to come to peoples houses and steal from them in this manner.
Our perfect fit blinds got damaged that we bought off crystal blinds . we phone crystal blinds, who advised us to bring the damaged blind in, including the frame in September 2023 and they would be in touch. We had rang them. more then several times (as we never got any returned calls back) as we still had no blinds and it was winter and this wasn't helping with our security. Ordered perfect fit blinds on 31st January 24, paid 50% deposit in cash (£460). We were promised one week to delivery/fitting, we’re still waiting 16 weeks later!! Tried to contact Chris more times than I can count, on business and mobile number, most of the times no answer. When he finally did answer he said that the manufacturer had ‘lost’ the order and he would have to put it in again, thus would take 2 weeks and he would call us- he didn’t!! Came out to give price give go-ahead because he was going to be a bit quicker than competitors. Promised to be done in 2 weeks after 4 weeks nothing. Kept coming up with excuse after excuse. Said he had sacked all his staff but next week I will sort he said. Over two months later he won't even answer phone. Take my advice AVOID THIS TIMEWASTER.
