Absolutely horrible experience with Cross Country Mortgage. I wish I could get a do-over and start again with a reputable lender. Don't make the same mistake that I did. They are super slow. Things they promised will be done in 3 weeks took nearly 4 months. They are so slow processing the refi that you will be sending them the same documents over and over for a 3 months period because they become "old" so you pull the new ones and then another set becomes "old" . The company is run like a circus. Even setting up an autopay i... read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible!! Did I mention Horrible?? Anthony ****is a horrible, deceitful person. He couldn't close a loan after repeatedly dragging it out and delaying the closing several times. Unfortunately it involved 2 other home sales and 2 other families that fell through because of his mismanagement. He is crooked and untrustworthy. After complaining to Cross Country HR, they backed him up saying I couldn't get a loan. Although I purchased a home 4 months later, after their debacle through Angel Oak. Never got back ... read more

I recently refinanced my home and Cross Country Mortgage and set up auto pay. The first month, I had to make the payment manually even though I had set up auto pay. The next month, I waited for two business days after my auto payment but the money wasn't pulled out of my account. Nervous that I would be penalised, I made a manual payment. Then, FIVE DAYS after the auto payment date, and after I had already manually paid, another payment was pulled out. This over drew my account. I called and was told that in order to get my ... read more

This company is awful. They will talk with you get all the information, and they do not do as they say. Even if you have accounts paid off in full but has not updated on credit bureaus and you have form from lender showing it is paid in full the don’t not remove it from DTR they are a pure rip off especially in zanesville Ohio

Very disappointed in Cross Country Mortgage and specially my loan officer, Brian *******In attempts to refinance, I provided full disclosure on a first time teacher's home buying program I participated in. I was reassured that I could refinance, paid for an appraisal, upgraded a membership status to reduce fees, and was encouraged not to pay my next two mortgage bills as Cross Country would wrap my next two payments into the refinance for "Covid Relief" (which I did not ask for). Lucky I did not take the advice of my loan of... read more

We were referred to Cross Countey Mortgage through our ****** ********** ******* so we thought they would be reliable and reputable. Our CC Mortgage lender's was Jim *******. Initially after shopping around to 3 different lenders, Jim gave us the lowest closing costs for our refinance loan. He was quick to order the appraisal for which we paid $475. After that pint, he stopped communicating with us and when we would reach out to him he would never call us back and only leave 1 word or 1 sentence email replies with absolutely... read more

Michael ********the mortgage broker working for CrossCountry Mortgage, has lied to us. Instead of doing the competent work, he assured us the we would get a loan and we proceeded with a contract to buy a house. We spent $650 on home inspection, $1000 on attorney, $350 on oil tank inspection and $600 on house appraisal only to learn that in the end the CrossCountry has rejected us. Before we learned about that, we also went ahead and cancelled our apartment lease and started packing. Since the loan origination was delayed by ... read more

I recently purchased a home. While I was very satisfied with my realtor, who is a friend of mine, the one mistake she made was referring me to Darik T***** of Cross Country mortgage. Darik is a habitual liar who will tell you anything he thinks you want to hear to get the deal done and make as much money as possible. If you decide to use Cross Country mortgage, do not take Dariks, or any of the CC mortgage teams word for anything, make sure you record every conversation. In the beginning, he was your typical, smooth talking ... read more
