I guess I should have listened to the reviews... Terrible and incompetent staff who have been causing me so much grievance over the last few months. We have an escrow account so that our taxes get paid through CC mortgage. Despite us paying them every month, they failed to pay our taxes and we've been getting notice after notice of late taxes and now we are in arrears for unpaid taxes (even though we paid the taxes months ago!). Your agent Margarette A******** order the wrong appraisal for the house loan. This mistake caused us to almost loose the house we want. The seller was really upset with her lack of communication and knowledge that he requested for us to switch mortgage company in order to make business with us. I started working with Bob on the recommendation of a friend. Inital loan amount and terms were signed and agreed to in their app. I had the appraisal done and a month into the process my loan amount and length of terms were switched without my consent or permission. Tried to contact Bob regarding questions multiple times over several weeks and each time I recieved notice that he was on the other line and would get back to me. By far the most HORRIBLE experience. I will not say names but the team that represented this company did an AWFUL job. What should have been an easy refi ended up being months of no communication. And when the cross country mortgage team finally decided to give an update, it was because I reached out for an update. Not to mention their team told us our appraisal would take away our PMI, which was great, only to find out they made a $100,000 mistake which put us back with a PMI. How do you mess up that BAD?! Where to begin, cross country got my mortgage done with a 10% loan, so I have PMI. Since purchasing my home I invested about 45% of the homes purchase price into renovations (over 10 months) and then paid for an appraisal to have my PMI removed. Cross country hired a company that didn’t even do an on-site appraisal even though I paid for it, and then came back with an appraisal of 0.02% too low for my PMI to be removed. Cross Country I was working with lender name Javier and he wasn’t helpful at all made matters worst I was trying to get a mortgage loan and he had me to refinance my car loan and only had two more years to pay on my car and he still hasn’t call to apologize or explain the reason for my low approval rate and realtor SoHo all she does is sell you dreams don’t follow thru either.
Cross County Mortgage = No loan for ESSENTIAL Workers This bank does not recognize shift change or time and a half hours for union workers. We have now been approved by three other lenders for the same home because this bank states that they will only recognize 40 regular hours regardless of the swing shift calculations that all other lenders we have worked with recognize. My sister and I were buying our first home in Nevada and received a letter in the mail for a pre-approval. This was the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES! am a first-time homebuyer, and this experience has been extremely horrible. James ****, who was my lender, gave me a false closing cost estimate and on my closing disclosure. The team that handled my loan waited until the day before my closing date to start preparing my loan. My loan was sent to underwriting at 5pm the day before my closing date.
